The JCVintage pickups are authentically built reproductions of the early 60's pickups made at the Fullerton factory in California. Some of the most iconic strats ever were built here in the mid 50's to early 60s. Warm but biting tones are the hallmark of the early strat. John has really done it with these they sound just fabulous. |
The neck is by Mighty Mite and
is registered as a Fender replacement strat neck. 9.5" radius
with 22 medium jumbo frets and a fast thin C profile make this like
any modern Fender neck. Email your enquiry now |
The body is of unknown origin and looks to be made from US Linden. This timber has been used to build many top end signature guitars for players like Joe Satriani, Guthrie Govern and Steve Vai. It has a warm mid range tone which compliments the glassy tones of the strat pickups very nicely. The standard fender pickguard screwed straight into the existing holes so it may very well have been a fender family body |
