Looks as though its been working around Melbourne for the past 40 years. Hand aged hardware, body and neck with all new electronics. Both body and new licensed by Fender neck have been distressed to give the appearance of an old warehorse that has seen much action.

Unlike many relics the job has been done meticulously to protect the metal threads in the bridge and necks playing surfaces. When you pick it up the first thing you'll notice is the prisine neck and fingerboard with its levelled crown and ploished set of frets. If you like you're guiitar to look well worn in this one could be for you.

The JCVintage pickups are authentically built reproductions of the early 60's pickups made at the Fullerton factory in California. Some of the most iconic strats ever were built here in the mid 50's to early 60s. Warm but biting tones are the hallmark of the early strat. John has really done it with these they sound just fabulous.

The neck is by Mighty Mite and is registered as a Fender replacement strat neck. 9.5" radius with 22 medium jumbo frets and a fast thin C profile make this like any modern Fender neck.

The body is of unknown origin and looks to be made from US Linden. This timber has been used to build many top end signature guitars for players like Joe Satriani, Guthrie Govern and Steve Vai. It has a warm mid range tone which compliments the glassy tones of the strat pickups very nicely. The standard fender pickguard screwed straight into the existing holes so it may very well have been a fender family body
