-Brazilian Rosewood board
The fully chambered body is of Mahogany cut from a section of board that had been air drying for over 12 years. Cap is of quatersawn Victorian ash. Neck shaft is Rock Maple with Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard. Profile is a chunky standard C slightly thicker than my standard C necks. Girth is .090"at the first fret and .099"at the 12th fret. See other specs below. As the body is heavily chambered it is very easy on the shoulder. It plays with a nice "live" feel and is very resonant and responsive. The wide tonal pallette comes from Mick Brierley's matched hot 52 lead for T-type and 491 PAF neck pickup. Tone goes from searing heat on the bridge with everything wide open to a warm thick syrupy tone from the neck.. Circuit is ToneRanger Tx4 with strangle mod in 2nd selector switch position. The 1st,3rd and 4th positions are standard T-type. Overall a very versatile guitar which will cover a lot of ground.
