#15-090909 Telstar
1 piece swamp ash blank handpicked for me by Tommy at USACG for lighghtness of weight and resonat properties. The contoured body and offset design togethert with its light weight make this a very comfortable guitar to play. An ideal workhorse if you play long shows. Very nice flame maple in the 1 pice vintage style neck. Very punchy tone with plenty of muscle.
Burnished finish throughout giving a micro thin coat. The grain is open and when you pick it up you can feel the grain in the wood. No multi coating of lacquer to seal it all under a glass like finish, Feels like what it is, a piece of finely polished timber.
New on this one is a 3mm heavy duty stainless neckplate which is recessed into the body. The heavy neckplate allows a much tighter neck to body union. In my opinion a tight fit with plenty of compression adds miles to the tone.
