Hosco - Who are they? Hosco and Allparts USA |
|
I have used and continue to use Hosco
necks and in the Custom Classic range of builds Hosco and Allparts bodies. They are identical
in every way to those I have purchased from Allparts. The same patterns
and tooling marks exist on both. The only difference is the lack of the
Allparts brand stamped on the heel or neck poclet. |
|
It is immediately obvious the Allparts
and the Hosco are the same neck. Real vintage style with the Tadeo rollover
on the lower headstock bottom edge. The heel transition is also the same.
Quality fretwork, consistent fingerboard radius and back profile make these
necks perfect for both vintage and modern style guitars. A wide range of configurations
are available to suit any style guitar. All are consistently priced. These ones below just look plain wrong to me. The rear lower headstock edge on both examples looks so much like the really cheap China made tele necks. Top is Warmoth followed by Might Mite. It is the missing rollover on the bottom headstock rear that tells the story. It is far easier and cheaper to shape the transisition with cnc machinery, With the allparts and Hosco example the rollovers are cut by hand indicating the care and attention to the fine detail. |
|
I have used many dozens of both Hosco and Allparts branded Hosco necks and in my opinion there is nothing in the market that is of such consistently high quality. I have tried many brands including Warmoth, USACG & Mighty Mite to name some of the more popular and the Hosco wins hands down for consistent top quality and fair pricing. | |
